I normally set myself monthly goals. Achieving them is another matter. I thought putting them into a blog post may give me that added push I need to actually get off my bum and start achieving! Hopefully it’ll motivate you to set some monthly goals too :). These are usually based around fitness, food and lifestyle.
Workout 4+ times a week…..To be fair, I’m normally good at achieving this. Sometimes I can slack to 2-3 times a week, but throughout July I’m going to make sure 4 workouts a week is the minimum. My workouts include the gym, swimming, running and yoga.
Volunteer…..I want to find the time to volunteer this month for a local charity. Even if it’s only a few hours of my time. I find helping others the most rewarding thing and I think everyone should make time for it.
Fruit and Veg…..I’m actually going to start writing down my fruit and veg intake this month. My goal is to eat 5+ a day. At the moment it varies from 0-5. I love fruit and veg and I love being healthy, particularly because I notice a massive difference on my health and happiness. However, sometimes I just forget or can’t be bothered to incorporate it into my diet. Watch this space, July!
Eating Out…..I ate out far too much in June. Whoops. Eating out is one of my favourite things to do, but it’s no good for my figure or my bank account, especially because I usually pick the tastiest but most unhealthy option. I will restrict myself to eating out once a week max in July.
Guitar…..Continue learning the guitar. This is like my biggest goal ever, but I just can’t bring myself to dedicate enough time to it to actually be any good at it. I can play most chords and songs – just not very well! July is going to be the start of playing more and playing better!
Visit 4 new places…..Every weekend in July I want to visit a new place (and hopefully blog about it too). Exploring is so much fun and it’s scary thinking about how little I’ve seen in my lifetime!
Fix my car…..OK, I know this isn’t exactly a personal goal…but I NEED to do it! I set this as a June goal but didn’t complete it. Basically, the bottom of my car is hanging off at the moment and I’m driving around like everything is perfectly normal. It’s definitely not…
